CT Trails Day Hike, Camdyn's Concert and More Events in Branford This Weekend

This weekend in Branford, help out a fundraiser, enjoy the great outdoors, learn firearm safety and more.


There are plenty of events on the Patch calendar for this weekend, including the Living Museum of Ancient Civilizations hosted by the Connecticut Experiential Learning Center at the Blackstone Library on Friday afternoon. 

Tag sales are in full swing and Patch and those on Saturday, June 1 include a Moving Sale at 23 Russell Street, a Huge Multi-Unit Tag Sale at Montoya Condominiums, a Neighborhood Tag Sale in the Cedar Lake neighborhood in North Branford and the St. George Church Peer Ministry Tag Sale!

Saturday, June 1

  • CT Trails Day Hike: Beacon Hill hosted by the Branford Land Trust at 9:30 a.m.
  • Camdyn's Concert: The Branford High School Class of 2015 presents a Disney-themed benefit concert for Camdyn Dunn, a 5th-grader at Walsh Intermediate School suffering from Stage 3 Anaplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma. 
  • Firearms Safety Class: Buzz of Branford will be holding a  that is needed to buy, own and carry a firearm for personal protection1 day class in the Basics of Firearm Safety.
  • Can u sing. Here's more information on the contest that runs from noon to 3 p.m. at Donovan's Reef.
  • Kaczynski Property Campaign Kickoff: Join the Branford Land Trust and Friends of the Farm River and celebrate the kick off of our acquisition campaign for the Kaczynski Property at 2 p.m.
