Camdyn's Concert

The Branford High School (BHS) Class of 2015 will present a Disney-themed benefit concert for Camdyn Dunn, a 5th grader at Walsh Intermediate School suffering from Stage 3 Anaplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma. The event will be held Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at 6:30 PM in the Branford High School Auditorium.
Camdyn’s Concert will consist of music from Disney films such as Aladdin, Tarzan, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Enchanted, and The Lion King, among others. The full array of BHS Choirs will be on hand to perform, including Concert Choir, and the choral groups Main Street and Music Makers. The evening will feature ten solo performances and six group performances by the various choral groups. Many performers will be dressed in costume, and all audience members will be encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Disney themed garb and even sing along with some of the pieces. As a special highlight of the evening, the Class of ’15 has invited Camdyn’s mother to share a few words about Camdyn and her fight against cancer. Net proceeds from the evening will be donated to Camdyn’s Fund, a nonprofit organization established to help Camdyn’s family pay for the overwhelming medical expenses that they must bear.

Admission to Camdyn’s Concert is $5 and seating is general admission. Additional donations are welcome. Refreshments will be sold in the lobby outside the auditorium.
