Despite the steady rain pouring down on Branford, a couple dozen volunteers turned up at Town Hall to continue preparations for this weekend's Branford Festival.
Tents were pitched and banners were hung; trucks and trailers were unloaded as the Operations team prepared to ready the plumbing, lighting and more.
Mary Hally, chair of the festival, talked a little about what goes into making an event like this happen (see video). She and many other volunteers will be working throughout the week with plenty more to do as the festival approaches.
