Patrick Ball Celtic Harpist/Storyteller in concert

Branford
Folk Music Society

May 11, 2013: Patrick
Ball

Renowned Celtic harpist and storyteller Patrick Ball makes a return visit to
the folk society after the success with us in 2009 of his critically-acclaimed
solo musical theater piece, "O'Carolan's Farewell to Music". This
time Branford listeners will get to hear Patrick in concert.

Ball, who hails from California, has long been regarded as one of the
premier Celtic harp players in the world. He has recorded eight instrumental
and two spoken word albums which have garnered numerous awards in both music
and spoken-word categories.

His BFMS debut in 2009 packed the auditorium of the First Congregational
Church and this show, no doubt, will provide a high note for ending our
2012-2013 concert season. Mark it on your calendar with a big Celtic green
circle.

Admission: $15 for nonmembers,
$12 for members, $5 for kids 12 and under
