To attend the program, children must be determined eligible through the P.P.T. process (visit the Linda B. Chipkin website for more details).
The schooling offered is a collaborative effort between special education teachers, speech and language pathologists, social workers, school psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, school nurses, teachers of the hearing impaired and supporting para-professionals.

"Duck Pond is unique in the area because of our teacher tenure - 10 years on average - and flexibility of scheduling," says Pavelko. Every classroom has at least one teacher with a degree.
