Following scenic Route 146 (also known as South Montowese Street) from downtown Branford will lead you to SlineyMore Field, located in Foote Park—just make sure you take the quick turn into the park after passing Indian Neck Garage. 

Sliney field is the home of the Branford Little League, and spring and summer keep the two fenced-in fields busy around the clock. You will also find two baseball fields, one T-ball field, four backstops and four concrete dugouts. The baseball outfields also double as a soccer field, and there is a concession stand.

This park is maintained by the by  the town recreation department with volunteer help from the Little League organization.

Located near downtown Branford, Hammer Field & Skate Park offers irrigated open field space, two full-sizeMore baseball fields, one softball field, two backstops, lighted basketball courts, 20 micro soccer fields, a skate park and a grand stand, which is just over 90 years old, to view it all from.

You can find the Branford Parks & Recreation Department adjacent to Hammer Field with the skate park located in the parking lot in a fenced-in facility.

Brewer Bruce & Johnson's Marina, located on the Branford River, offers a family-oriented marina with a pool,More restaurant, playground and picnic area. The marina also prides itself on being part of a long porting history that defines the founding of Branford. 

The marina also offers Brewer Bruce & Johnson Marina West at 51 Goodsell Point Road.

If you are looking for the marina from Route 146 during the summer months, spot the person in a lobster suit standing at the entrance; though the lobster man is for the nearby Dockside Restaurant, it's an iconic landmark leading the way to the shoreline.
