Formerly Shoreline Foods, Wilson Jara's Shoreline Cafe & Catering is located a quarter-mile from Branford…More Green. Jara is also the owner of the coffee shop, Common Grounds, which is adjacent to the Green. Shoreline Cafe & Catering's menu contains 11 chicken dinners, including Chicken Wilson, a dish comprised of prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and spinach with lemon lobster sauce. </p> <p>A fully array of breakfast items is available, and for lunchtime, choose from an assortment of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and more. A self-serve salad bar rounds out the offerings.</p> <p>The dining room has ample seating with about a dozen tables that look out onto Main Street through large glass windows. Outside dining is also available. </p>

The family owned and operated Common Grounds coffee shop has been a fixture in Branford Center for over a decade. It…More offers specialty coffees and "flavors of the day," such as Almond Joy. Comfy couches and long tables provide lots of space to work and there is free internet access.</p> <p>There are about 10 tables inside and 6 metal tables outside by the street. Local artists feature their work periodically and most is for sale.</p> <p>Owner Wilson Jara also owns Shoreline Cafe down the street from Common Grounds.</p>
