The son of Cuban refugee…More parents, Hernandez matriculated through Hamden schools and most recently held the title of Assistant Superintendent of Hamden Schools before being appointed to his current role of Branford's Superintendent of Schools. He was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps.</p> <p>Hernandez brings with him a dedication to all students, from those enrolled in early education in the Indian Neck School programs to the seniors graduating from Branford High School.
