The Branford native has experience as an inventor, stone mason, firefighter, Eagle Scout and U.S. Navy veteran. Branford is governed by a three member administration, and DaRos serves with Selectman Francis Walsh and Selectman John E. Opie. The First Selectman's Office works in conjunction with Branford's Board of Finance and Representative Town Meeting to make decisions. The office meets the first and third Wednesday of every month.
