Actually the hard working folks of Connecticut would have an extra 4 BILLION dollars in their pockets if the state eliminated the sales tax. That is equal to an extra $1,130. per man, woman and child. What could your family do with an few thousand dollars?

If a person wants to earn more then they need to learn skills that command a higher premium in the work place. Do well in school, go to college or learn new skills on your own.

Minimum wage was never meant to allow someone to "live comfortably." Who started that…Read More notion? It is a wage for entry level workers just starting out in the workplace. Stay in school, do well, have good work habits and you never see minimum wage after the first year or so.

A fair minimum wage is aware that is agreed upon by both the employer and the prospective employee.…Read More As it is a contract between tow private parties the government should have absolutely NO say in the amount of the wage. If the employer values the job at a certain rate and finds an employee willing to work for that amount that should be the end of the story.
