Stony Creek Beach

<p>In the quaint neighborhood of Stony Creek, you'll discover a small beach located next to Madera Park. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the beach is staffed by lifeguards provided by the town recreation department.</p> <p>If the summer sun proves to be too much, take reprieve under the shade of a gazebo. Many a nuptial has taken place at the gazebo; inquires for use must be made at Branford Town Hall (203-488-8394). </p> <p>Stony Creek Beach is one of the few beaches open to the public in Branford, and parking is limited. You are permitted to swim and launch small boats, canoes and kayaks from the dock next to Kayak Beach.</p> <p>The town recreation department and the Stony Creek Association maintain the property.</p>
