For those who don't know, Branford Point is the spot for watching the annual Fourth of July fireworks over Long Island Sound. It's highly recommended that you take two wheels instead of four to enjoy the fireworks; parking fills up quickly. During the rest of the year, parking at Branford Point is limited to town residents and vehicles must have a parking pass, which can be obtained by contacting the tax collector's office at 203-481-0381.

Unlike most beaches in town, which are truly for their respective neighborhoods, Branford Point Beach is open to the public and is staffed by lifeguards Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 10am - 4pm, daily.
