Branford Assessor

<p>The town's assessor's office, lead by Barbara Neal, determines and records the assessed value of each property, allowing for Branford's annual grand list (the total assessment of all taxable property in the town).</p> <p>The office maintains an accurate description of all real, personal and motor vehicle property in the town and the records are public information, available during regular business hours.</p> <p>Neal encourages residents to stop in the office or use the town's website to educate themselves about the wealth of knowledge her department maintains.</p> <p>"I can't answer how the bluefish run," Neal says, "but we offer a great deal of information."</p>
