Week Ahead in Branford: It's Back to School!

Things to know this week in Branford including the first day of school!

Here's a quick recap of some important events happening this week in Branford. Remember, you can post your own organizations' events to our events calendar at any time. 

Monday, Aug. 26

Cheer on Branford businessman and cancer survivor Gerry Campion as he plays 62 for 62 (62 holes of golf as he turns 62 years of age). It's all about the 'Closer to Free' campaign at the Clinton Country Club beginning at 9am. 

Tuesday, Aug. 27

The networking group called Connecticut Business Connections meets at the Parthenon Diner at 7:30am.

The first day of a mandatory two-day orientation for ERACE students takes place today from 5-7pm at the high school. 

Wednesday, Aug. 28

It's the FIRST day of school for all Branford public school students and staff. Drivers, please remember to obey all speed limits and school bus lights and signals. It's the law. 

Thursday, Aug. 29

Day two of the two-day orientation for ERACE students takes place today from 5-7pm at the high school.
