Fish of the Farm River Presentation and More Branford Events This Week

This week in Branford, there is business networking, Land Trust presentations, a Rita's fundraiser, the CELC Living Museum and more!

1. Business Connections: The Connecticut Business Connection will host a Branford Breakfast Networking meeting on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:30 a.m. "We provide networking and educational opportunities to business owners and professionals."

2. Branford Town Meetings: This week, meetings include the Young Park Commission on Tuesday, May 28.

3. Presentations and Talks: Join the Branford Land Trust and Friends of the Farm River for an illustrated talk featuring the vast schools of fish now returning home to our lower Farm River in "Fish of the Farm River" on Wednesday, May 29. Laura I. Maniglia, owner and director of Handle Associates Learning Center in Guilford and Branford Patch blogger, presents "Test Anxiety: How to Conquer Exam Stress" on Thursday, May 30 at the Guilford Free Library. 

4. Sweet Eats for a Good Cause: There is a Rita's Fundraiser for Branford Taekwondo Nationals Teams on Thursday, May 30 beginning at 5 p.m.

5. Living Museum by CELC: The auditorium at the Blackstone Memorial Library will become transformed into a Living Museum of Ancient Civilizations, representing months of research and study by students of the Connecticut Experiential Learning Center (CELC) on Friday, May 31 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
