Greenway Trail Cleanup Happening Tuesday

Volunteers from Connecticut design firm Stantec will be assisting in blazing a new trail segment on the Tabor property Sept. 10, which is part of the Branford section of the Shoreline Greenway Trail. 

About 15 Stantec employees from the firm’s Hamden and Hartford offices will be assisting Shoreline Greenway Trail volunteers on Tuesday. 

The group is part of the over 4,000 Stantec employees volunteering in their communities across the globe on this same day.

The group in Branford will be clearing, weeding, pruning, and performing other work to assist in reestablishment of the trail segment. 

Stantec has led the master planning for the Shoreline Greenway Trail and is commencing design of a number of segments. The trail, when complete, will connect five towns over 25 miles along the Connecticut coast.

The cleanup will take place on Sept. 10 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.
