Branford's Touch A Truck Scheduled for October 27,2012. All Are Invited!!!!

The Town of Branford and the United Way of Greater New Haven are inviting all to join the community in celebrating its Fifth Annual Touch-A-Truck Day on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Branford High School, 185 Main Street, rain or shine.  This hands-on event gives all children the opportunity to be up close to their hometown heroes and allows them to climb into their favorite big rigs, fire engines, police cars, construction trucks, and more.  Free admission and free food and beverages for all.  A donation of a package of diapers is being asked by all who attend this event.  Items will be distributed to local families in need.  Monetary contributions will also be accepted.  For more information, please call 488-8304 or log on to uwgnh.org.
