Branford Recreation Department Spelling Bee Winners Announced
Spelling Bee at the Branford Recreation Department Held on March 17th.
On Saturday, March 16th, the Branford Recreation Department sponsored its annual Spelling Bee for grades three thru adults. Thanks to Branford teachers/volunteers Mrs. Jay Palluzzi, Mrs. Judy Spaar, and Mrs. Kathy Nelson, who judged the event, the following is the list of winners by grade:
Grade 3: 1st Place - Adam Chasse Murphy School; 2nd Place - Veronica Smith Sliney School; 3rd Place: Anna Perricone Sliney School
Grade 4: 1st Place-Alishbah Siddiqy Murphy School; 2nd Place - Emily Graves - St. Mary's School; 3rd Place - Maddie Steinman Sliney School
