WS CLANCY – 68 EVANS MOBIL -  66

Behind TOM CARFORA’s 19 points, 13 of which came in the first half of play and teammate DAMIEN SPERANZA’s 16, WS Clancy edged Evans Mobil by the final score of 68-66 in the first week of the Branford Recreation Department’s Men’s Basketball League.  PAUL VOTTO led Evans Mobil with 16.

MIKE TAMSIN, last year’s leading scorer continued his steady accuracy by netting a game high 32 points, including a 21 first half performance to lead Branford Book & Card over G&G Earth Materials, 65-62.  ED PREISS added 17 in the win.  DENNIS ABBATE scored 22 points to lead G & G Earth Materials.
