VIDEO: Branford BBall Player Wins Game with Last-Minute OT Basket
Branford eighth-grade travel basketball team wins against East Haven with OT steal.
They were down by 13 points at the start of the fourth quarter, says Patch reader Geraldine Sullivan, but Branford boys’ eighth-grade travel basket ball team came back against East Haven at a recent game held and Branford Park & Recreation Department. Sullivan reported that Ryan Sember stole the ball from East Haven with seconds left in overtime, and MJ DelRocco made the winning basket. The final scorer was 34 to 33.
