The Branford High School Dance team took home the CIAC State Championship Dance titles in hip hop and jazz on March 5.
The dance team led by Jackie Dunn, who is a special education teacher at BHS, has been competing for eight years and taken home first place in hip hop at the CIAC Championship for the past five years. This year was the first time the team brought home the title for jazz.
The team is mostly comprised of freshman and sophmores with two seniors and one junior so expect more good things from this gang as next season begins!
