Friday's away football game for the Branford High School Hornets was another upset on the tail of last week's fall to Notre-Dame West Haven at home. The Hornets put 6 on the board when Justin Blood scored on a 9-yard touchdown run, according to the New Haven Register. However, it wasn't enough with the Indians tallied 21 points. North Haven scored a SCC Division II win against the Hornets Friday, reported the NHR.
