Fitter Earns Little East Track Honors for Fourth Time This Season

Branford's Maggie Fitter, a senior at Keene State, continues to shine on the track in the Little East.

Personal-best performances by Keene State College seniors Maggie Fitter (Branford) and Janel Haggerty (Guilford) earned them Little East Conference track honors on Feb. 25.

Fitter, a senior, posted a personal best time in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run this past weekend at the New England Open Championships. Fitter lowered her national ranking in the event to No. 14 by completing the course in 2:12.41. She finished sixth in the finals with a time of 2:19.06.

She has earned the honor four times this season, including Jan. 14, Feb. 11, Feb. 18, and Feb. 25.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
