4-mile walk to Branford Town Green to proclaim “Chet Blomquist Day” honoring Chet on National Trails Day
Chet will start his exciting Day leading a family-oriented, hardy four-mile walk from Stony Creek across marshes, woods, by ponds and Branford River to showcase Shoreline Greenway Trail route. Finish at the Branford Green by 12:30 pm. Or, hike either half, c. 2 miles each.
10am: Meet at Stony Creek West Point field near Trolley Trail, hike to Young’s Pond Park, to Pine Orchard Rd and cross to Tabor property near dog kennel - c. 2 miles (bus pick up or drop off here)

OR 11:30am: join Walk at Pine Orchard Rd by Tabor Property to Branford Town Green - c. 2 miles
1pm on Branford Green: 1st Selectman Unk DaRos will proclaim “Chet Blomquist Day”, joined by other local organizations honoring Chet for his visionary contributions. Light refreshments served, bring picnics, enjoy the day!

Free Bus shuttle: 9:30am Meet at Branford Town Green for ride to Trolley Trail entrance. 11:15 am Meet at Branford Town Green for ride to Pine Orchard Road, or meet bus at pick-up spot for return to Green.
