Branford Land Trusts Needs Your Help to Preserve Land

We’re almost there! The Branford Land Trust is just $40,000 away from its goal to raise $475,000 to preserve .

If you can help us raise half of that, or $20,000, it will be matched by challenge grants from the Foote Family Charitable Trust, Bank of America, Trustee, and Seedlings Foundation. That doubles every donation we receive—$50, $500, $1000 or more!

To date, the Land Trust has helped to preserve 1,000 acres of open space in the Supply Ponds/Queach and Pisgah Brook/Saltonstall Mountain Preserves. Adding the 24-acre Pieper Woodlands and the 37-acre Johnson Farm properties will protect one of Branford’s last working farms, close the last gap in the trail system that spans the entire Pisgah Brook watershed, and provide a new entrance to the trails.
