Please join the Authors/Artists /Musicians at The Shore Line Trolley Museum for a “launch event” along with The Shoreline Arts Alliance  on Saturday September 22nd from 10-4.
We will be drawing with the kids, reading Be The Kite!, displaying the 3-D book and publishing their artwork on the www.BeTheKite.com

Book Launching/Signing Event for Be The Kite! ...a new interactive children’s picture
book published by Author/Illustrator Cathi Bosco of Madison, CT.
Children and families are invited to meet the artist, create drawings, fly kites, see her giant 3-D book,
purchase signed copies of the book and to please come enjoy a reading by the author! Kid’s can create
original drawings after the readings which will take place throughout the day on the hour. All of the kid’s
artwork, as part of the Be The Kite! interactive programs, will also be published in the on-line Young Artist
Gallery at the website www.BeTheKite.com.  Look for the teacher’s guide, interactive Google map and other
cool creative, imaginative and fun activities that go along with the release of this book for kids ages 3-10!

On Saturday, September 22 from 10am -4pm, Shoreline Arts Alliance will have use of the historic
trolley cars as art galleries, musical and theatrical stages, storytelling and book signings. This larger
- one day only - event is presented in collaboration with The Shoreline Arts Alliance & The East Haven
Trolley Museum.
