The 8th annual Shoreline Walkathon, to benefit the Community Dining Room.
This family-friendly event is held at the beautiful Owenego Inn in the Pawson Park section of Branford, and features a scenic course along Long Island Sound. Grab your friends and family and walk/run/stroll to support the CDR!
Founded in 1985, the Community Dining Room is a private, not-for-profit organization committed to serving the community by feeding the hungry and helping with other basic human needs, including support services and fellowship. In addition, it strives to promote public awareness of the impact of hunger and isolation in our society. The CDR serves the towns of Branford, North Branford, East Haven, Guilford, and Madison.

9:00 a.m. Registration begins 9:00a.m. Family activities at the Owenego. 10:00a.m. Introductions & start of Walkathon by Grand Marshall.

Participants will travel approximately 2-miles from the Owenego Inn & Beach Club south on Linden Avenue overlooking beautiful Long Island Sound through the residential areas of Pawson Park with sights of the Thimble Islands and Branford Point.

Individuals: $15 until May 1, Families: $40 until May 1.
Individuals: $20 and Families: $50 on race day.
