Football season is almost upon us, and the Branford Hornets are looking to improve from their 5-5 season a year ago.
This year, Branford High School's varsity football team opens at Woodland on Thursday, Sept. 12 and ends at home against East Haven on Thanksgiving. The full schedule for the Hornets is as follows:
- Thursday, Sept. 12: Branford at Woodland; 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 20: Notre Dame-West Haven vs. Branford, 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 28: Branford at Wilton, 2:30 .m.
- Friday, Oct. 4: Branford at Fairfield Prep, 6 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 11: Guilford vs. Branford, 7 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 18: North Haven vs. Branford, 7 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 1: Branford at Lyman Hall, 7 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 8: Jonathan Law vs. Branford, 7 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 15: Branford at Hillhouse, 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 22: Branford at Sheehan, 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 28: East Haven vs. Branford, 10:30 a.m.
