The Stage Is Set -- Literally -- For BHS Graduation

With a 30% chance of showers for this evening the Branford Green is still being prepared for the Branford High School Class of 2013 graduation ceremony at 6 PM.

According to the Branford School District website, it will be announced by 3:30 PM if the ceremony will be moved indoors due to possible expected rain.

As of now it looks like the outdoor ceremony is a go as the stage is set, chairs are in rows and rehearsal starts shortly.

Here is the information posted on the website (http://www.branford.k12.ct.us/):

"The Branford High School graduation is scheduled to begin promptly at 6:00pm on the Branford Green.

If inclement weather does not permit the graduation ceremony to be held outside, graduation will be held in the Dr. Edmund C. Higgins Student Center at Branford High School.

A final determination regarding the location of graduation will be made at approximately 3:30pm. Information will be posted on the Branford Public Schools website, Branford High School website and through the Alert Now communication system."
