Meet the Cast of Lady Pirates of the Caribbean

Jack Nelson and Andrew Salerno tell you what it's like to be part of the cast of Walsh Intermediate School's latest production.

Members of Francis Walsh Intermediate School's Musical Theater have been busy preparing for their production of Lady Pirates of the Caribbean with performances on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 6 at 3 p.m.

Eighth-graders Jack Nelson (ensemble) and Andrew Salerno (Don Juan Futon) took a break from rehearsal to tell us more about their roles and what is special about this show (see videos).

According to an announcement posted, the play is about "a spirited family-friendly musical about the adventures of the Lawless Lady pirates. A chest of gold doubloons sent by the Queen to care for orphaned children on Parrot Isle has been stolen. Will the Lawless Ladies be able to uncover who stole the gold?

Jeffrey Rizzo, a 7th-grade science teacher at Walsh, directs the play, which features Kirsten Bjork as Esmeralda, Kendra Libby as Lucretia and Andrew Salerno as Don Juan Futon.

Tickets ($10) are available by calling 203-418-PLAY.
