Meet the 2013 Branford's Education Hall of Fame Inductees

On April 25, 10 individuals who have made significant contributions to education will be inducted into the Branford's Education Hall of Fame.

 

On Thursday, April 25, for the 16th consecutive year, Branford’s Education Hall of Fame will honor 10 individuals who have made significant contributions to education. 

Nominations were accepted early this year and the 2013 Hall of Fame inductees are Virginia Baltay, Deb Bliven, Roxanne Coady, Betty Ann Donegan, Sharon MacKinnel, Jon Nelson, Albert Russell and Bruce E. Storm, Ed. D. Marguerite “Peg” Ballard and Dorothy Newton Rider will be inducted posthumously.

The induction dinner will be held at Woodwinds Restaurant in Branford on Thursday, April 25 with social hour beginning at 5:15 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Dinner choices include prime rib of beef, stuffed breast of chicken, baked scrod or vegetarian lasagna.

Send ticket requests to Branford’s Education Hall of Fame, 124 South Montowese Street #28, Branford, CT 06405 by April 15. Please indicate the inductee you are honoring by attending the dinner and you will be seated at a table with others who are honoring that inductee.  

Please include your choice of meal, telephone number and e-mail address. Tickets are $50. Checks should be made out to Branford’s Education Hall of Fame. For more information, call 203-488-2051.
