Meet Lillian Brown, Vice President of BHS's Class of 2013

Lillian Brown is looking forward to studying at Vanderbilt University next year!

As we count down to graduation on Wednesday, June 26 for Branford High School's Class of 2013, we're taking some time to get to know some of the top students of the graduating class.

Today, meet Lillian Brown, Student Council vice present, who shares the key to her success at Branford High School.

What activities were you involved in throughout high school? Vice President of Class of 2013, captain of BHS field hockey team, captain of BHS sailing team, spring musicals, model congress, concert choir and music makers, and National Honor Society

What was your favorite subject?
Psychology

Who was your favorite/most influential teacher?
Mrs. Okamoto for not only teaching us how to master chemistry, but for her countless life lessons along the way.

What are your future plans?
I will be studying special education at Vanderbilt University next year with the aspirations to perhaps become a speech pathologist.

What is the key to your success? Get involved! I found that the busier I am, the easier it is to stay on top of all my work. Also, it gives you the opportunity to meet people who you might not have befriended otherwise.

Is there anyone you would like to thank? Thank you to all of the wonderful faculty at BHS for helping to make the past 4 years unforgettable.

What will you miss about BHS? I will miss all of the friends I made here, but I know that we will all stay in touch as we each continue our journeys onward! And lastly, congratulations to the Class of 2013; we made it!
