Make Mike Olt USA Today's Minor League Player of the Year

Voting closes soon so be sure to cast your ballot for this Branford baseball son.

It’s like all things are coming up lately. After his advancement from the Texas Rangers’ minor league team on Aug. 2, graduate is now in the running to be named USA Today’s Minor Leauge Player of the Year.

Olt has captured 15 percent of the vote, falling behind Wil Myers (42 percent) and Billy Hamilton (22 percent). There are five players competing for the title so Olt really needs you to step up to help bring his victory home! The final decision is a combination of readers’ votes and USA Today staff picks. Vote by Aug. 20.
