 High School Credit Diploma Program

You can earn a Branford High School Adult Diploma if you complete Adult High School credits! You can transfer in previously earned credits, complete curriculum packets, gain credits for employment or military experience and on-line courses. We offer two levels of classes in English, social studies and mathematics. This program is offered at no cost to you; however, refundable deposits for use of texts and curriculum packets are required.

NEW STUDENTS: Call us at 203.488.5693 or visit our office at Branford High School to make the required appointment with our counselors. Bring your transcript or request that it be sent to us and if 17 or 18 years of age bring documentation that you officially withdrew from high school.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION: 4 credits in English, 1 credit in Vocational Education or the Arts, 3 credits in Mathematics, 2 credits in Science to include 1 credit in Biology, 3 credits in Social Studies to include 1 credit in United States History and 1/2 credit in Civics, 7 elective credits including technology and transitions.

HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: You may take our High School classes if you are 16 years of age and no longer enrolled in school. If you are 16, 17 or 18 years of age, you must provide documentation that you officially withdrew from high school.
