Genealogy 101

The Branford Historical Society is sponsoring an informative lecture series on beginning genealogy Thursdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at the Branford Community House from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. Presented by Gregory Evan Thompson, the workshop will include using a variety of records including family, census, vital, church, military, pensions, newspapers, probate, and on-line databases. Gregory Thompson is known throughout Connecticut as a genealogist and lecturer. The cost is $25 for Branford historical society members, $40 for non-members and includes the workshop and handouts.
