Branford Paras and Lunch Aides Plan to Organize at BOE Meeting Tonight

The newly organized union representing more than 130 paraprofessionals and lunch aides plans to meet before the regular BOE meeting tonight.

More than 130 paraprofessionals and lunch aides were encouraged to attend tonight’s Board of Education meeting, route: {:controller=>"events", :action=>"show", :id=>"board-of-ed-meeting-10"} --> according to Colleen Ezzo, a union representative for group. “We do not intend to do anything crazy,” said Ezzo. “It’s to show the Board that we stand untied with our paraprofessionals and lunch aides.” The union is encouraging members to show up at paraprofessionals were let go do to budgetary reasons.
