Meet Highlight: It was very impressive during this vacation week, how the girls picked up other events and went the extra effort to cover areas where we were a little light.  This was an indicator for the girls as to how good we are at our core, I couldn't have asked for more from this group. We were down some key athletes and they came through. They rose to the occasion with season best performances and we may have turned the corner.

Surprising Performances: Bryanna Willaby in the 400; she knew we needed help in that event and she stepped in and got some big points. Alyssa Case in the pole vault; she was very happy to get a new personal best (7'6"). She has been working hard on hurdles so this was a pleasant surprise.

Coach's Comments: The vacation week-quad meet can be a killer; in the past we have been crushed, but this year I thought they performed exceptionally well. We were leading Shelton for a good part of the meet but in the last four events they outscored us 26-6. Guilford had a very depleted team do to school rules; I know they have a competitive team. Going into next week with North Haven, it will once again be very close we will have to be close to perfect to win.

Team Record: 4-3.

Come support the track team Wednesday, April 25 at 3:45 p.m. at James L. MacVeigh Alumni Athletic Complex as they face North Haven.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
