Schools

Appreciate a Teacher and All They Do

It is Teacher Appreciation Week and we want you to share stories of your favorite teacher.

The end of the school year is almost here. Students are preparing for chorus concerts, picking prom outfits and completing art work for the end of the year art show. But think about it; Who has organized, planned, and probably agonized over each of these events?  A TEACHER!

A teacher does not just work 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. everyday– It is so much more than that.  As you look over the calendar of events for the ending of this school year, take a look at the names attached to each event. Perhaps you once had this teacher, perhaps you participated in this event when you were in school.

It is Teacher Appreciation Week and we all know the power and inspiration of a good teacher. Take a moment and comment on Branford Patch about your favorite teacher; your best memory of a teacher; or the way a teacher changed your life. Who was your favorite and why?
