Tick, Tock! Branford Town Taxes Due August 1st

If you haven't already done so, your town tax bills are due by Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Time is running out to pay your Branford motor vehicle tax bill and the first installment for all real estate and personal property taxes. Taxes are due to be in the mail or paid in person to the Town of Branford Tax Collector by Aug. 1, 2012.

The current tax rate is 24.95 mills.

Vehicles registered after Oct. 1, 2011 will be billed in January 2013, and do not appear on the July 2012 tax bill.

There will be no mailing for the second installment of the real estate and personal property tax bills. Both payment coupons were included in the bill mailed in June.
