The Schlesinger family of Branford hosted Tolu Akintoye of Nigeria last week and the family enjoyed taking her kayaking for the day. Girl Scout Zadie Schlesinger said she was really excited to have Akintoye visit. Her brother Eli Schlesinger agreed. “It’s a good experience,” Eli shared. “Just to know where she is from and how it is there.” Eli and Zadie said they were surprised to learn that Akintoye keeps a fox as a pet.
