Recently-Hired Branford Public Works Director Resigns

Emil Coviello held the job for just a few months.

Emil Coviello, who was hired earlier this year to replace Art Baker as Branford’s Public Works Director, has resigned after just a few months on the job.

The New Haven Register reports that Baker left the town in February and Coviello was hired to lead the town’s public works department. But after just a few months on the job, he resigned, according to the newspaper.

The Register could not reach Coviello for comment. The town is now advertising for the position, saying it pays between $80,944 and $97,630 a year.
