Press Release: Wayne Cooke Files Suit Against Town Employees

The First Selectman and Assessor face legal suit from resident Wayne Cooke for alleged 'First and Fourteenth Amendment civil rights violations and deprivation of civil rights under Section 1983 of the United States Code.'

Wayne Cooke of Branford has filed a federal lawsuit against First Selectman Anthony DaRos and Assessor Barbara Neal for First and Fourteenth Amendment civil rights violations and deprivation of civil rights under Section 1983 of the United States Code. 

A copy of the complaint is attached. 

In addition, Cooke has filed a separate suit in state court against DaRos for slander. 

A copy of that complaint is also attached. 

Cooke is being represented by the Marcus Law Firm of North Branford, CT.  All questions should be directed to the firm.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
