Presidential Primary Election Guide: Vote Today, April 24

The 2012 Republican Presidential Primary Election is around the corner. Branford's seven polling centers (see list below) will be open to all registered republicans on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

A sample ballot is attached to this story but if you can't wait to vote, let readers know who you'll be casting your ballot for by voting in the included poll. 

The candidates are:

Mitt Romney

Rick Santorum (campaign suspended)

Ron Paul 

Newt Gingrich

Registration Deadlines:

According to the registrar, mail-in registration/enrollment applications must be post marked by Thursday April 19, 2012. Deadline to register in person is Monday April 23, 2012; a special session for in-person registration will also be held Monday April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon. The Registrar of Voters is normally open to the public Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  (You can download voter registration here or attached to this story).
