Branford Patch: When you’re not sitting in committee and full meetings, what are you doing? i.e. work and fun? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: Volunteering, gardening- indoors and out, collecting Branford postcards, caring for pets – Noah and Merrily.

Branford Patch: How many years have you been a sitting member of Branford politics? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: 0. 

Branford Patch: How long have you been actively engaged in politics in general? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: 6 years.

Branford Patch: What and when was your first foray into politics? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: Joining the Branford DTC

Branford Patch: What’s your 10-second elevator pitch for getting elected? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: I hope to draw on my experience as a veteran of 42 years in education and as a lifelong conservationist to help the Town of Branford.

Branford Patch: What’s one thing right about Branford politics? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: So many people are so involved and interested.

Branford Patch: What’s one thing you’d like to see changed? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: I would like Roberts’ Rules of Order to be followed at all public meetings.

Branford Patch: Regardless of your party affiliation, can you name one good thing about the current First Selectman Anthony “Unk” DaRos and one good thing about his challenger, Joy McConnell? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: I think they are running for the right reason: that they want the best for our town and its citizens.

Branford Patch: What has been the most exciting national election you have every voted in? Local? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: National: I liked Ike! My classmates and I went to hear him speak on the New Haven Green. Local: Two years ago, because I was involved in campaigning and working at the polls.

Branford Patch: What’s one piece of advice you would give apathetic voters about the importance of casting his or her ballot? 
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: Think how lucky we are to have a voice.

Branford Patch: What’s the one thing that you like best about Branford?
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: I am inspired by the large number of Branford citizens who volunteer to help this community in so many ways.

Branford Patch: Why did you decide to run in this election?
Maryanne Lincoln Hall: I believe that I have the experience, energy and time to make a positive contribution to the RTM.
