CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE POSITION OF:
 
On call Plow Snow – Branford, CT
Rate: $21.99 per hour
 
Date of Notice:  1/2/2013
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
 
Essential Functions: To be available to plow snow on an on-call or stand-by status. Valid drivers license, CDL preferable.  Clean driving record, snow plowing experience essential and familiarity with Town of Branford streets and roads.
 
Selection Process: Experience Assessment, Driving Record; Training on truck operations
 
The Town of Branford reserves the right to limit the number of qualified candidates who will be considered for the position.
 
The files of all qualified candidates will be maintained for a minimum of six months from the announcement date, and the qualified candidates will be considered for the same or similar positions which may become available during this timeframe.
 
All candidates must successfully pass a post-offer substance abuse test given at the Town's expense.
