James Cosgrove To Run For Branford First Selectman

The Shoreline Times is reporting that Republican James Cosgrove, a member of the Branford Board of Selectmen, will run for First Selectman this November.

“I have not officially announced yet but, obviously, my intention is to run,” Cosgrove told The Shoreline Times. “It got out there and I’ve been giving it some thought for a while.”

Current Branford First Selectmen Anthony “Unk” DaRos, a democrat, has not yet announced if he is going to run for a third term this November, according to The Shoreline Times. However, the Times reports that several sources have told them that DaRos is not planning on running and DaRos has not denied those reports.
