There are still many roads in town that are still not passable, especially for the Towns Haulers. The Department of Public Works is working tirelessly to make sure the roads are safe for the residents as well as emergency personnel, including the haulers. So, for the safety of everyone , the Town of Branford has suspended the collection for the entire week.
There will be no curbside collection for garbage and recycling until Tuesday, February 19. The Transfer Station is closed on Monday, February 18 in observance of President’s Day, so all collections that week will be delayed one day.
The Transfer Station will be open on Wednesday, February 13 from 7:15 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. You may bring your garbage and recyclables here. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Please be sure you put out your trash and recycling before midnight and do not place it on top of snowbanks for safety of the haulers. Put all containers at the end of your driveway.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12, in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday, and also on Monday, Feb. 18, in observance of President’s Day.
Garbage and recycling will be delayed one day beginning with Tuesday, Feb. 12 for that week and all garbage and recycling collections will be delayed one day the week of Feb. 18.
Please note that the Town Hall is open on Feb. 12.
