"I've been walking and driving around all day. Hurricane Sandy conditions have settled down and greatly stabilized. Waters are receding, thankfully. Trees across roads and power lines are being removed. Power is coming back on.
Our Town public service professional and volunteer personnel have devoted another 36 hours of their time to serve our needs. Police, Fire, Ambulance, Public Works and Sewer have all done great jobs again!
This morning [Oct. 30] there were two burning house fires going on at the same time. Both handled beautifully by Fire and Police personnel. Thanks for helping us stay safe!"
