Holiday House Decorating

Registration for the Holiday House Decorating is now being accepted at the Branford Recreation Department or online at www.branford-ct.gov.  The contest, opened to all Branford residents will be held on Wednesday, December 14th and Thursday, December 15th ( choose only one night for your house to be viewed).  All decorations should be visible to a car from the street or driveway and should be located in the front or side of the house, window, or front door.  Decorations and or animations should be lit and running by 6:30 p.m. and stay on at least until 9:15 p.m.   The Branford Recreation Department judges will be joined by Patch Editor, Nicole Ball , and will judge using the following decorating criteria: Creativity, Holiday Spirit, Humor, Degree of Difficulty, Colorful, Orginality, Theme, and Technological Display.  All entries will be acknowedged.  For more information, please call the office at (203)488-8304.
