Celebrate the New Fire Department

On Saturday, September 8, 2012, the will be hosting a public celebration and official ribbon cutting ceremony to present the new to our community. 

A was held in April 2011 to commemorate the of this $12.5 million project. Fire Headquarters is a state-of-the-art 34,000 square foot building consisting of a 58-ton geothermal heating and cooling system, a solar panel system to generate and supply clean electricity and is the town’s first LEED Silver certified building. In addition to housing our public safety officers the building will also be used for public meetings. 

A special thank you to the Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire Department Building Committee, Board of Selectmen, Town Officials, Board of Finance, RTM members, all the elected and appointed officials and the citizens of the Town of Branford for your support.
